Definitely drawing to a close. We will head to Bergues for a free night in preference to paying at Gravelines so it will bring us home less than 100 euros for 2 nights camping and 3 nights CCP and everything else free.
We also fancy the canal ride into Dunkirk

Just the one today.

We liked Avion last time we were here a couple of months ago but didn't have our e bikes with us as that was a motorbike holiday.

Came back in today and we had noted you could cycle to Lens and there was a "veloroute de bassin miners" to Henin... https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/journals/henin-beaumont-disused-mining-track.619/

Roughly Ā£750 plus ferry or tunnel is good going, but most impressive is 910 kms cycled. A bloody good effort. šŸ‘šŸ‘

We didn't have any solar as no time to fit it so realistically the only place we would have chosen to pay was castellane for 7 euros if we had solar.

I have either 350 or 525 watts of solar at home to go up. (One of them the glass was shattered so they sent a new one) Just have to work out where to get replacement glass.

Final journal entry.
The figures have all been done as I know the milage home.

A bientot.

We made Bergues, a free stopover, we have stayed at many times.

We made our last fill up at e Le clerc j 10 at Baileuill where we made our first diesel stop making it easier to work out the mpg (27.7) over the whole trip.

Bergues was nigh on... https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/journals/dunkirk-from-bergues.620/

We stayed at Bergues for a couple of nights at around Easter time. No other motorhomes there when we arrived but as it was wet and messy we turned immediately right on going through the entrance so as to park on the grassy hardcore. The bottom end of the aire was fenced off. After being parked up for a short while a tipper lorry arrived and went down the far end and as it reversed up to tip itā€™s load, it sank down to itā€™s axles and had to be dug and towed out!
We were going to cycle into Dunkirk but as it was windy and wet we had a walk around the town where a lot of landscaping work was going on in the main square. A pleasant town. We were intrigued by the second WW bullet holes in the first WW statue of the fallen soldier.

If you can get the timing right at end of March there is the mother of all pee ups here.
We got here 0830 after a night shift. Went to sleep with nobody here. Woke up to them drinking vodka out of the bottle at 1100 hrs totally rammed. Weirdest fancy dress belly bumping party EVER

Guess where we are? After a slight detour down a rather narrow road and a precarious U turn. Thanks for the location. It's just a short scooter ride to Avignon and L'isle sur la Sorgue for the markets/brocantes.

We didnt even think of going through the gate to park in there. Briiiiliant.

Pop down to the river and see if you can work out what the burrows are for on the left on the opposite side

Will have a look tomorrow in the light. It's a little bumpy in here but OK. Currently there's a suspicious white van slightly blocking our exit. Hopefully he'll move before the morning. We got some Dutch now for company.

Not sure what they are but it's a little community whatever they are. Did take a long look but nothing came out.
