Rally Chat 4 meets Scotland June/July 2017

Delay on dates is due to a change in staff department and negotiation of price at The Falkirk wheel. At the moment the price is £15 per night which I find too expensive.
It is rather expensive Sandra but it was a good location.

For once we agree lol... I think £15 is a bit steep for what's provided... basically a park up.. and water... the facilities are too far away to be convenient..

Oh well if you think that you are rich enough today for all of us then eh:rofl::rofl:

Maybe you could get us a good Chinese discount.
I hope you at least took that lesson away with you if nothing else. I grew up being told "Wanting and getting is 2 different things" so nowadays I apply the logic(y)

Looks really nice .....never been to that area so definitely interested. It's a long way so need to be able to tie in other stuff so a lot depends on dates. Really do appreciate all the work you are doing in our behalf... so a big thank you

Yes for Millport of the dates are okay. My friend's field will not be available for us as there will be horses on there .... and no one wants a horse rubbing his itchy backside on their van :(

I need to go to plan B and then, maybe plan C. :)

If all that fails it might be sweet talking Scottish Borders Council into the use of one of their car parks, possibly Hawick or Jedburgh.

Yes definitely for Millport. In respect of Falkirk I think the 50 % increase is far too much since while they have been super meets it was all down to you Sandra. After all they only really supply parking and water.
Looking forward to the big reveal when you at last give us the planned dates!

I am working on the Kelso Rally and coordinating with Sandra for dates so people can go from one rally to another if they wish.

I'm waiting for a reply from a local seasonal business in the hope that we can hire their facilities which are unused at that time of year.

Right, the man from the place I hope to hire has got back to me.

He wants to know if we are allowed to lift a manhole for access to the drains to dispose of black waste. I do this at home but we have private drainage. Anyone know if we would be allowed to do this on a public sewerage system?

EDIT: Also asked elsewhere on the forum as a new topic as not everyone who knows will read this post
