Hello Lisa, I’m contacting you on behalf of my husband re the trip to Drax. I’m sorry I can’t contact you privately as it’s the first time I’ve been on this site and it’s taken me sometime to locate you. Unfortunately my husband is in hospital and is likely to be there for some time so we have to cancel. Hopefully someone will take our place. Once again sorry, we were really looking forward to it. AA Traffic News is not showing any road closures along the A59 that I can see.

As it’s your first Funster rally you’ll need to have every one round for a drink, in hindsight you should have picked a smaller rally

We went on a small rally for our first one and it was brilliant. Swaffham was the biggest we’ve been to and once again it was a great experience. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your first rally with other funsters.

Being that it looks like it gonna be nice and sunny does anyone know how much beer I need to bring

I'm thinking quite a bit, maybe loads, even a full 24 pack

Also we carry elec bikes as i'm not a great walker, especially after a 24 pack lol, would you advise bringing both, is there anywhere to cycle to if we wanted to or should I just bring mine

There is a bus to Selby. Which is a nice 15 min bus ride.

Just for info.. there is a bus stop right outside the pedestrian gate of the club HOWEVER be aware that bus only runs about every 2 hours. There is another bus service into Selby running hourly but that requires a 1 mile walk to it's nearest stop.
