Cheers Cris 🍻.

Thanks Lisa, Terry , Bob and Denise (not forgetting your helpers), we appreciate all the hard work you put into organising this Rally. You do a fantastic job and we had a great time.

Phew, home now, back down south (despite M1 closure sat nav re-routed across M69 to M40, so sometimes they do work). First load of washing in which after 4 weeks is going to take a while ....

Difficult to add to comments from many but Bob, Lisa, Terry, Denise should be proud of themselves for the effort that went into this rally, and the many smiles it created. Some superb acts from the slick Moondogs band, an amusing Lee Lard, and the extremely adaptable vocals of Caroline Seymour. One cannot ignore the numerous funster musicians and Dynamix. Then there was the marshaling team, the burger chefs. And then there was an interesting tour of Drax Power Station (despite their obvious security concerns for upcoming events). And it was all very ably hosted by the great team of Drax staff (I need bigger trousers after all that food).

:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

Now to go and lie down in a darkened room :)

WOW,WOW, WOW, What a FABULOUS time we have had . Lisa , Terry you have done our funster family proud we have been so looking forward to this meet since the day we left last year and we have not been disappointed for one minute.
Lisa your dedication from start to finish is second to none from organising artist ,the endless hours on the admin side of things on the forum , the on going organising and communication to funsters , the artists, Drax management etc , sorting the days out to Drax power station . You deserve a well earned rest now well for a short time as I know you will be starting organising the next on soon .

Another fantastic Drax rally.

Massive thanks to Lisa, Terry, Bob and Denise for all your hard work in organising this for us all. Can only imagine all the hard work, effort and frustrations at times in putting together such a great weekend for us all.

Also a big shout out to the lads for parking us all so carefully.

Great entertainment throughout which will take some beating for next year.

Now just to wait for the post to book next years 🥳🥳🥳

Can anyone advise as to the cost etc please, is it an annual fee? Is it a 12 month fee from Jan to Dec or 12 months from purchase etc please?
we joined yesterday, very easy process, and as we are both over 65 it was £13 a year going up to £15

No brainer really and as we are only 30 mins away we can use it for overnight stops anytime we want as long as we call them first

as I said, no brainer, the first nights boozing has paid for it lol

Many thanks to Lisa Terry Bob and Denise for a terrific rally.
I think the fund raised £4 600 if not amended.
Roll on next year!

A huge thank you to all Funsters who attended the rally and gave so generously. The donated raffle prizes were amazing and so varied. Something for everyone!
Special thanks to runrig (Sheila & Mick) and Chocy boy (John).

To those that helped us, we are so grateful and really appreciate it. We couldn’t do it without you.

Thanks to those that entertained us during the day on Saturday and on Monday evening, we have some talented Funsters amongst us and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

The money has been counted and the final total is a whopping £4694.00

It will be split between Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Macmillan. (Receipts to follow).

Thank you so much for joining us and supporting the charities that hold a special place in our hearts.

Well done Fantastic Funsters ❤️

Bob, Denise, Terry & Lisa

P.s Dates for your diary 2025 - 31st July to 5th Aug 😉

Can you remember the year when they were all different colours Dave? I’ve only got a rubbish photo but I remember it was a really brilliant light show!

That was 2 years ago but I think after all the recent negative publicity they have had and the threat of demonstrations they have taken a low profile. Pity I liked the coloured chimneys..

Just found a marginally better one …
Better than mine Dave! 👍
Here’s a marginally better one ..
