There were plenty of rallies that were cancelled at that time, due to the lousy weather. Ours was able to go ahead.
That ground is firm, as we had over 120 vans that didn't get stuck. I don't think that's bad......

HOT OFF THE PRESS! DRAX POWER STATION TOUR - VERY LIMITED SPACES.



PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REPLYING.


By a stroke of luck, Drax Power Station have offered us 30 places for two tours on Friday (15 on each). The first tour will be from 10am til 12pm and the second will be 1pm til 3pm.

These will be offered on a first come, first served basis and initially only to those that have not been on a tour previously.

Security is STRICT. Each attendee will be required to provide Photographic ID, wear long sleeves and trousers and closed in shoes. I will also need the full name (first and surname) of each attendee upon confirmation of making the tour. Failure to comply will mean that you miss the tour.

Times cannot be chosen, the first 15 responses will go on the first tour and the next 15 will go on the second tour.

There are quite a few metal staircases to navigate, so the tour is unsuitable for those with mobility issues.

Due to limited spaces, please do not reserve a place if there is a chance that you may not feel like attending on the day.

For those who have not had a chance to do the Power Station Tour previously, and are relatively fit, it really is worth a visit.

I am Asthmatic and found I had to take it easy on the stairs, but apart from that I was fine.
