US Toll roads: Interesting to note that we have used several toll roads in out 11 months, no alternative.
Cash payment no issue.
The two we have registered to pay in advance on website, no payment has been taken, we have confirmation we registered.
Automated "Pay by plate", before using these we called and spoke to authority who assured us there would be no issue with
a UK number plate. I was dubious, why would US authority have access us foreign vehicle owner details and why would the system
be designed to read foreign plates? Mexican truck have to have 2 sets of plates Mexican and US.
So after 4 months being the longest we have not received a postal invoice, to our home address, for the "pay by plate".
We called to pay over the phone, but told there was no record of our registration number on the system, even giving then the specific
date and approx time we pasted the cameras.
So just a leisurely 3000m drive from Boca Chica, Space X Starbase to Halifax to do over the next few weeks.
A stop in Littleton, Maine to view the Total Solar Eclipse, drop the van at Halifax docks 12th April, jet of to Hawaii
for State 50 for 5 day and home.
