Some bloke called Dom Perrignon lived around here and created something.
The village overlooks the incessant vineyards and is a bit of a cycle up there even with electric but then its a bit undulating across teh ridge but lovely views to talk about over a beer (NO I didnt treat her to champagne)
There are more aires than Murieul sur Ay and worth checking them out up the hills. Saw a couple of nice ones in villages which were known to TOs
In Epernay we did actually join the queue for the baloon ride and I think it was 6 euros including a glass of champagne however the wind got up and our childrens inheritance was not spent !
