Forges Les eaux to St saire avenue verte.

We wanted to start the avenue verte from Gournay en Bray, however the travellers were in there an no hope of leaving our motorhome unattended so we moved on to Les forges eau but didn't go much on it for a tenner with leccy when we don't need leccy so we went to St saire and parked on a nearby tarmac car park rather than the wet grass.
We were directly next to the avenue verte which is the London to Paris greenway.
Immaculately smooth it was slightly uphill for 8 Kms and fairly downhill for the other 5. No great scenery such as bridges but it seemed to be permanently overhanging trees from both sides giving cover or shade.
Forges Les eau is nothing to write home about and we didn't even stay for a Chocolat chaud.
We got back in a little light rain and made our way to Mesnieres en Bray. It was nearly full but spotted a black English pop up Mercedes (transit size) taking up 2 spaces so his large white shepherds dog could lie outside his van. Noted he had a cut on his head.
Popped up and had to speak through the closed window as he wouldn't open it to talk to us or open the door. When asked to move over left or right he just said "No ask one of the others" To which I could only reply "Seriously?"
All the others are close enough already.
He was wished a good day, though it wasn't meant and spoke to the French who couldn't believe it with loads of gallic shrugs. Another smaller van just got in and had to park next to him but in front after I told them he wouldn't move. Hopefully a Frenchman turns up who insists he moves. I LL try to get a picture later. We have parked up next to the sleepers on the way in.
To give some idea there are 5 full size vans on one side of the aire and 3 full size vans and his transit sized van taking up the space where the other 2 vans could be.
Hopefully he reads this or someone reads it to him.

And he moved off first thing so this is the space a transit sized vehicle took up. Remembering the vehicle on the right of the photo was not there.
