Paul Merton and Suki hitting the roads again.

Why aren’t they using the gas? The kitchen or the Sink when ‘off grid’?
Because in reality ,they don't know how to. I can quite imagine that they assume that the water in the van is in constant supply.
Everywhere they pitch up its flat.no ramps used. (y)

Just watched it on catch up. I could not be sure but thought they had a Swift last week but now a roller team. It makes Lisa cringe the way they scrape the van on hedges etc😁

Those long traffic tail backs they create give motorhomers a bad name and what a fuss created about being ‘off grid’ with plumbing & washing up facilities!

We enjoyed last night’s programme, the first one we’d seen. It’s pretty obvious that they are inexperienced novices, but we all were, once. The realisation that they had something called a “leisure battery” was amusing!

I wanted more of how they used the van, although it was interesting to see the places they visited.

Paul is extremely quick-witted and doesn’t take himself seriously, so neither should anyone watching. It’s good that a production company sees enough potential in motorhoming to make a series about it. Relax and enjoy!

Not sure I can take much more of him.
Your tv should have a plug you can pull out of the wall or even switch channels you can’t be forced to watch something you dislike, it’s a little like TV adverts as soon as they come in we hit the mute button the ads just look crazy 😜 gives them a new perspective and shows how ridiculous they are.

I wondered what that was for. 😀. The problem is I keep watching in case I find any part of it interesting.

I thought series one wasn’t too bad but this second series I am finding it boring. Would it be better with just Suki in it? I don’t know, but I think Paul Merton is a lazy unfunny so and so, and surplus to requirements. I won’t be watching it again.

I quite like him, but admit he’s a bit wooden in this series. Maybe the format not playing to his strengths? Like many comedians he’s a bit socially awkward and needs an audience to perform his best.

I wonder why we have so many Victor Meldews here, perhaps MHF is not for them. My old mum said "if you havn't anything nice to say then don't say it at all" Drop the negative and enjoy life, this ain't a practice run, you only get one go at it:LOL:

But it's about motorhomes, of course it's up for discussion.

Oh don't! I watch anything she presents, interesting or not. :inlove:
Just googled her and reckon she has a dirty smile. Fab!

Probably to go against the majority we both watch it. Despite being a bit of C5 fluff it does show the general public that those of us that own and use these vehicles are actually normal. It's not a documentary.

Perhaps the naysayers prefer the various "Bargain Hunting Brits" programmes? No motorhomes but plenty of Benidorm....?

There was one shot (about 2 seconds) on yesterdays episode where it was on ramps, be it only halfway up the ramps.

With the multitude of programmes featuring numerous acclaimed chefs cooking worldwide in peoples' homes, on beaches, in vineyards and up mountains and 'B' list presenters, celebrities and ex-Politicians travelling the world by trains, boats and in campervans I'm in danger of losing the motivation to go anywhere myself.
