If I knew nothing about campervans/motorhomes I think the advice from one of the experts to hire before buying probably made it worth watching.

No, Roger the cabin boy, what’s that all about !Begone, Sire and leave me with my pure innocent thoughts.
You will be telling me next that the great explorer and icon plus personal friend of mine, Captain Pugwash, didn’t have a ship !
Humbug. If the devil would cast his net now, he'd catch a lot of miserable sods in this thread.![]()
And some of them have Motorhomes!,If the devil would cast his net now, he'd catch a lot of miserable sods in this thread.![]()
Yes, to be fair, that was a sound piece of advice from an actual owner/user.If I knew nothing about campervans/motorhomes I think the advice from one of the experts to hire before buying probably made it worth watching.
Well now, that’s a whole different sort of showNo, Roger the cabin boy, what’s that all about !
You know what apparently appeared at Colchester station years ago……. The platform sign “COLCHESTER…..and underneath “Harwich for the continent” Some wag had written underneath “Frinton on Sea for the incontinent”Nope Cornwall is fine leave Frinton to us locals![]()
I’d like to see them doing the NC500 in its entirety
You're a day late Dave #10.You know what apparently appeared at Colchester station years ago……. The platform sign “COLCHESTER…..and underneath “Harwich for the continent” Some wag had written underneath “Frinton on Sea for the incontinent”
P.S. I lived in Holland on Sea for many years
Think of the program from someone that knows bugger all about caravaning or motorhoming.
They could on the programs image and recommendations spend thousands and potentially loose out and then say well that Merton and his wife did it.
Naaaa sorry wrong image of the hobby to be a program even if some people think it’s a joke.
If they are going to do a series 3 do it right and promote the program and hobby in a positive light not a half arsed attempt.
Too much time was spent on crab fishing. Susan Calman does that kind of travel show with her tiny Bambi a lot better than this.As a program which had motorhomes in it the episode was poor. The only clips seemed to focus clipping hedges and bushes. It was more of a travelogue for things to see in Cornwall which moves further north the next time. It is on a similar theme to the canal barge programmes and the aged comics and soap "stars" in 2 motorhomes. Cheap tat to produce.
Ah…… missed it. Frinton used to be nice before Cordy’s (I think) became a weatherspoons. You're a day late Dave #10.![]()
Me too.Well I enjoyed last night's episode as I did the previous series. It's light hearted entertainment and I enjoy their banter.
Oh the dilemma….. Harry’s ITV interview or Paul Merton’s genuine tales of motorhoming life? I think I’ll go down the pub!Channel 5 9pm. They are in the Cotswolds tonight....woohooo
Neither it’s happy valley.Oh the dilemma….. Harry’s ITV interview or Paul Merton’s genuine tales of motorhoming life? I think I’ll go down the pub!
Not sure I can take much more of him. He’s a bit of an annoying k..b who thinks he’s funny.
He’s not.
Does he ever drive the MH or leave it to his poor suffering wife, who deserves a medal imo. Shan’t watch it again.
I commend it to the house…The Cameramans fixation on Suki's derrieire is very apparent!
