It's a squeeze to get it into steptoes yard
Box trailers are great for keeping bike(s) & kit secure and clean. Unlike a standard bike trailer they are very flexible - mine also performs as a garage for a lawn tractor and is probably one of my best ever buys.Weāre looking at a trailer setup in order to carrier our two Hondaās. Total weight of the bikes (without luggage) is about 500kgs.
I went for a detachable tow bar, which doesnāt allow us to open the back doors when attached. Looks like you can with your set up?
I did end up putting mudflaps on, it really as made a difference.

As you suggest, the fixed tow bar allows the rear doors to open. It also offers some protection from french parking which is often the 'reverse until you hit something' style. An unplanned benefit is the towbar hangs slightly lower than the LPG refill fitting which I would otherwise worry about knocking.
I can see mud flaps in my future
The width shouldn't be an issue if you choose the right trailer but I can't speak for your parking space. Whichever way you go, bear in mind that above 750kg gross you're looking at braked trailers and that's another ball game.Would I be able to get two bikes in side by side? Each handle bar is about 740mm wide. However, Iād have to find somewhere to park it, whereas I could tuck away a two bike trailer in my front garden.

I got rid of the Same but in silver, almost 2 years ago now, to go to an Imala 734 (SWMNBO) wanted a larger living space.

Hi Sapper & Mike
My neighbour and I fitted them as they came balanced, most tyre fitting companies will fit them for you. running at 53psi I can say they are not any noisier than the standard Fiat alloys, mpg has gone down VERY slightly but hey they look and handle like the Monkeys, Excellent in your average grass campsite, gets you through what MOST vehicles get stuck in
i can not recommend them enough
