Went for the Moretti collection this week, I normally get the Rossa when in Italy but decided to splash out, I didn't know that IPA was Italian Pale Ale so decided to try.....

This a really nice dark beer from Castle Douglas, the brewery has its own bar with a great vibe 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻View attachment 824396
Shame they didn't choose to put a Barnacle goose on the label instead of the Canada goose they've chosen as the Barnacles are arriving now around the Solway Firth and into Caerlaverock which is just down the road from Castle Douglas ?

Didn’t chose the beer for the picture but you are right, I suspect the guys at the brewery have more important things to think about. Making sure they brew the beer better than ever 👏👏👏👏👏

Another very nice strong but tasty Belgian beer: Mc Chouffe Bruin. Brilliant.

I bought a box of these in Lidl a couple of months back and really enjoyed them.
Shame it was just a special as I would definitely buy them again.
