What are you up to this weekend?

Drove up to darkest Putney to take eldest daughter out for a birthday dinner. Got lost in the labyrinth diversions around J10 on the M25/A3 junction. Took three jours to drive to Portsmouth in the pouring rain. Don't even think about going anywhere near that junction until it reopens - It ain't worth the hassle. Find another way.

got lost in that too when coming home from Spain. Got off ferry at Portsmouth, through customs and onto A3 no problem. coasting along nicely I thought. Should be home by around 4 a.m.. then hit the chaos you mention. Late at night in the dark and raining. Whole area unfamiliar and in motorhome. Frustrating and stressful was an understatement.

Was over an hour before finally stumbled onto the M25 heading north towards the M1 again. Unfortunately, then further north the M1 was closed off too. What a journey.:mad:

Packing for our Tuesday flight to Malaga ( airBnB for a week )
Wife is celebrating her retirement after 30 + years as a Doctor in the NHS , time for her to hang up her stethoscope.

Sadly I'll be fitting an extra fence post where the fence is waving goodbye.
Hadn't realised 3m x 100mm sq posts were so heavy.
