We stayed here last night and will be staying tonight. It is a free Aire with water at 3 euros for 10 mins and leccy at 4 euros and hour ! Cassette dump is free.
Probably space for 10 cars but there is adjacent car parking if you have a French attitude and it is full.
There is an alternative at Beaugency about 7km down river but their villagers made a pact with the devil so they could have a bridge over la Loire.
The most striking thing about this village is the 3 extremely clear streams that run through and under the houses almost parallel to each other and if my eye is correct there must have been loads of water wheels at some point.
There is a chateau that the bishop of Orleans had in the 12th century and Louis xi is in the church.
Quality of bread can be confirmed for the boulangerie at the top of the road that passed the Aire.
Cycling route of 20 km to Orleans. Couple of pharmacies but we couldn't see a bar.
Picturesque walk round the streams for these photos and the egret made off with a 5 inch fish for its young in its foot.
The fountain at the end possibly not worth the effort.
