I could but I don't want tv on the side of the wardrobe when travelling, as we don't have a tv cupboard.
Couldn't you find a way of anchoring/securing the TV to the side of the wardrobe for travelling, without having to bag it each time you move?

Cheers,

Jock.

We have one but do not use it ( in fact it is where the microwave is ! )

You know those wee elastic things that are used on the Funster rally tents.. Black with a white ball on them ..
Well we just use one of those to hold the telly back
We have used the same method in all the vans we have had :)

We bag our tv.. It's too big for the original TV cupboard and too big to have flapping around so bagging is the easiest option .. With the quick release bracket.

Still a newbie
We measured a strip of material that would be long enough to go around the TV when it was pushed back to the corner.we stitched Velcro at each end and putting it so that the middle of the cloth was behind the wall side of the bracket.we removed one of the wall bracket screws and put the cloth behind the hole and replaced the screw so that would keep the strip in place.
Now when we move .we just draw the materiel around the TV and fasten it with velcro

Can't you just leave it on the bracket? I don't understand this bagging TV's ?
I leave mine on the brackets and just check the tightness of the bolts occasionally. The brackets are fixed with sleeve nuts that go right through the furniture so they won't be going anywhere.

I've posted this before but basically, when the cantilever bracket is in the docked position drill an 1/8" hole vertically through the arms of the cantilever, insert a nail or something similar as a pin and drop it into the drilled hole, this will prevent the cantilever opening out. Just remove the pin when you want to swing the TV out and replace the pin when you push the TV back to the stored position.

Me neither, ours has been on a bracket for the past 8 years, including traveling through Portugal.

Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner on the tescos boost, still got enough for a couple of euro tunnel crossings. The Henry has been out to get me for sometime and after using the F word today(not like me at all) he has won and will be got rid of. I accidentally bought the heavy numatic one, should have sent it back immediately it is so heavy.

I'm on Virgin cable Tony and I had to phone 150 to get caller ID enabled. Normally this incurs a £2.25 pm fee but surprisingly they gave it me free. Apparently they have promotion codes and the like and staff can use discretion to give it free.
Anyone not in our phone book now faces a blockade and the answer phone  bring it on!! tw@ts

Used to live near to the original 'Robinson' factory. Sadly long gone now
