If you spend that kind of money then you might as well spend some more on a custom paint scheme of your choice, makes a huge difference, all those top end big white boxes don’t make sense to me

I do tend to agree that it would be nice to see a bit of a change from the white with black stripes, N+B do give you more option in terms of personalising your vehicle but a colour change paint job is something like €30k I think there was a grey Grand Empire here at the factory last year.

I like a colour but not Anthracite, sick to death of that one.

The trouble is you see a colour that looks OK on a car but it doesn’t work on a big vehicle and the you struggle to sell it.

A a little one hiding at the end of the row, doubt if this is destined for the UK though,

I do think that seeing the line up above does give cause for strong consideration to add a little colour.

For me,l like to show a little originality and character and the offering of white and white oh and white is lacking. No matter the cost it’s still white, shouldn’t be.

Anthracite is one of my favourite colours for a car but motorhomes look rather nice in burnt orange

No but they are customers vans waiting to ship out, about 4 metres on the Stellplatz and for the open it will be just enough room to open your door as you know.

I saw one in Morocco, with a Mini Cooper convertible under the floor. Sadly he didnt stop long enough for me to enveigle a tour.

Did you try the 4 or 6 cylinder?

It was the 4 cylinder. My friend in Germany has a Loft Liner 100GQ which is the 6 cylinder. It still sounds a lot louder and a bit rougher than the Merc in my opinion. He wanted the Merc but that model was/is only available on the Iveco EC.

Boys and toys,

The orange bit that you can just see in the garage is a motorcycle rack that the car goes over the top of so he can choose his toys, the cycle rack is on a lift right at the back of the garage and goes up behind the bedroom cupboards.

Yuck, makes it look like a delivery van.

Left the factory this morning but not before a wander up to their parts department for a bit of a spend I noticed on the newer vans that the habitation door would open to 90 degrees rather than all the way back to the wall, all the way back makes it difficult to close from inside as it's the extra wide door and the gas strut is quite strong, so €125 later we have the new gas strut with the intermediate stop position, you can push it past this point to fully open if you so wish.

That's a better (or worse) view of the colourful one

Filled up with diesel and moved 27km to Volkach on the river Maine so we can watch the boats again,

Nice spot with a view of the river, all for €10.

Nice enough little town with lots of cafe's and eating places and now back at the MoHo listening to the thunder rattling around us although we have only had a few spots of rain so far, lots of cycle paths going all direction so will be spoilt for choice.

I'm not sure which one you mean but the advantage of clipping the legs to the side of the vehicle is you don't need to tie them down unless its blowing a gale. Triangulation

I think yo the side of the van is better personally I just haven't plucked up the courage to drill holes in it yet, if you go to the ground you need to peg down to stop it lifting and pegging down to block paving isn't easy, if you go to the side of the van the wind can't pull the legs out of the clips so it just billows the awning sheet a bit telling you it's possibly time to think about winding it in a bit, when you do wind it in you can still leave it out a foot or two with the legs still connected. If you are on ground that can be pegged into you can then put straps down triangulating the whole structure.

I spotted that too, but I would do it if I was only drawing current to keep the batteries topped-up, which is us as we do not have any 240v appliances. So not normally on EHU anyway.

It is good to see so many 'Big Guys' on a thread. We just creep in at the bottom end with our 7m Arto.

Only if you got legs down IMO Martin otherwise a strong gust could damage the mountings
