As my dad used to say, if I can't drink it I'll write with it.

Home or MH, whats barista? or come to that whats a Bialetti?
I love my coffee but unfortunately caffeine is bad for blood pressure so I am limited to a max of two a day now.
Incidentally I have never suffered from the 'hyperactivity' that strong coffee seems to bring on in others, anybody else similarly not affected.

John, old people shouldn't be allowed in Macdonalds.
My ex wife told me recently that she took her elderly Mum into the local Macdonalds and asked her what she wanted. The reply?
" Well Dear , as they are free I think I will try one of their Wifi's"
I went into a Mc D for the first time in about 16 years last week, it`s like a food factory , non stop production line.
The activity behind the counter was unbelievable.
Most confusing was how to order what-- " do you want a meal with that"!!?-- i felt 90 years old standing there with not a clue what they were on about
I ended up with a processed burger with slimey stuff on it and little pack of chips

Ok must start a new thread (ask me how I know)Well thank you all. Some good stuff in there. I now know what a Bialletti is and I've been using one for years this must make me nearly a Barista!
Sainsbury,s have a Tassimo T40 for half price so I might give that a go. We went for a meal in a restaraunt last week and they served Tassimo Americano which tasted good so I will give that a try for the special treat and carry on with the Bialletti for work a day stuff.
Thanks all for the advice..
