Hole in water system (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me what this is (the white tube on the right, which is cracked) and how easy it is to replace for a non-diy person?! Swift Escape on a Ducato. Just arrived at campsite and tried to fill the tank but water pouring out of the van.

That is an accumulator it evens out the water pressure and stops the water pulsing.
You can just bypass it for now.

Tis only a pressure valve as Lenny mentioned above. Any local caravan accessory shop should have a push on cap or straight joint to replace it for now. Drain the water and you simply push in the collar at each joint and pull the pipe out at the same time. Refit by simply pushing back in

'push to fit' plumbing bits from any respectable plumbing shop - google 'plumbers near me', doesn't need to be a campervan shop as what you've got is assembled from standard house plumbing bits.
Shop should be able to demonstrate removing & fitting, no tools required.

It will be 12mm pipe, not avalible from plumbers merchants needs to be a caravan/Motorhome shop.

Happy to be corrected Lenny, but last time I needed plumbing in the 'van was for my water filter & it was 15mm stuff.

Of course there's always amazon next day delivery...

It's a Whale accumulator.
Check if the spigot is 15mm into the "T" if so then this is the one you want.

Thanks guys for your prompt answers. Fortunately the guy in reception knew what it was and a 50 mile round trip to Highbridge resolved the problem - even I managed to fit that .
