Please Please Please let me know ASAP if for any reason you can't make it - since I have the whole restaurant booked - don't want to let them down!

I have arranged free temporary membership at the social club for the Friday night, and they will have an extra barmaid on to ensure we are well looked after - the booze is very cheap!
**Basic food can be available between 6.30 and 9 (stuff and chips - Burger, sausage, lasagna, pie etc) from £4 -6 but please let me know in advance!
They won't cope with 36 asking for grub all at once and probably won't have enough in!
Also - it will be fine to take any musical instruments into the club should you so desire!

Saturday night for the meal - smart dress please!
Can still be 'smart casual' but come on - lets make the effort!
Dress to impress:cool: I would suggest wellies, crocs and fleeces are most certainly off the menu;)

Hi Dave
Stuff and chips please - Lasagna would be fine (garlic bread would be yummy too!)
Suggestion - why don't they lay on a buffet of Lasagna, chilli, garlic bread, chips, jacket spuds with cheese, salad etc. Much easier than cooking for everyone individually

Good idea! I'll have a word and see what they can do, and a price!
A table buffet mix of hot and cold stuff maybe??? If I said to cater for X number at say £5 per head - I reckon that would work, assuming the majority (if not everyone!) intends to spend the Friday night there, and will be happy to pay for this??? I can only ask the question - if everyone is up for it.....over to all of you!

Happy to go with this, as long as there are some veggie options?? (y)

Personally, I'd have gone for sausage & chips, but if the consensus is for a communal lasagne, I'll suffer (although maybe not in silence:unsure:) & go with the flow.

Fear not - I'll be asking for a right old mix up! I think lasagne, garlic bread and salad might be a tad too posh!!! Its only a CIU working mens club you know!!! I'll suggest sausages, chips, lasagna, sarnies and the usual hot and cold buffet bits - and celery!

errmm - which end of the whip?

Might be a silly question to ask a horsewoman.

I see Dux has drawn the obvious conclusion.

I bought the horses so as not to raise suspicions for the amount of whips that I have!

... and I thought it was just getting interesting.

All we need now is for Louis Theroux to come along & make a TV documentary about it all. :Eeek:
Masks put me off

I'm sure we can make some of our own footage….Movan will be there with her camera, so they'll be no hiding :imoutahere:

if I can loose 3 stone between now and the meet I'll wear my tux as well :censored:
That is the working men's club, is it, Clive?

It conjours up a fairly interesting picture - grown men in tuxedos being chased around by Lisa in a working men's club whilst being whipped with sticks of celery.

Not even Max Mosely would have thought of that one........

Best stick to what I know best. The beer and the chips........

Just wondering, now Friday night is catered and Saturday night is catered, seems a shame to have to cook on Sunday ;)
