Hi folks. We had a problem on our last trip. The Airbag warning light came up on the dash. There was a beep and then it settled with just the light. After a few weeks the passanger seat belt did not always extinguish the seat belt warning light.
I checked with my code reader but it is not an expensive one so does not do airbags. A mate with an expensive box could read the code but not turn them off.
So….off to Fiat Commercial. They checked it and sure enough the ECU had gone to the great junk yard in the sky. They replaced it in about 40 mins.
Talking to the man with the oily hands, he said this is a common problem with the Fiat Ducato. The later ones are better.
Great service from HTC Croydon. Total bill £500 - £300 for the part.
