Burstner elegance 686 door open alarm ? (1 Viewer)

Hello, - my question as title - we have a beeping alarm & "door open" warning on the reich control panel when engine is started - none of the doors are open - so - anyone have any ideas how we can rectify this ?

Never heard of an open door alarm as said its probably a step alarm.

My first thought was the step - the step has a warning light on the dash - and retracting makes no difference to this problem...
The warning & beeping is on the E-control - & is shown in the E-control manual - but no clues to how to turn off the warning & alarm...

May be the door contacts not making contact or need cleaning?

Broken wire to the contacts?

I did wonder about door contacts - but I haven't a clue how they are supposed to work - or what type of switch they are - or whether they can be removed & checked...

Assume it isn’t warning of a locker door, or bonnet?

Worth a check to see if they have switches/contacts.
