My 2016 Elddis 185 has an Autowatch 695 alarm system.
When sitting outside the motorhome, unlocked, the alarm system just give 2 beeps and sets itself on, it has just started doing this.
Is there a setting that automatically locks the motorhome and alarms it without no action from me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Odd that it has just started doing it, but the default settings on the Autowatch RLC 695 is that if one of the cab doors in not opened within I think it is 60 seconds, then the alarm re-arms.
In answer to your question, yes the auto re-arm can be programmed out.
PM me if you want info on programming out the re-arm feature..

Hi Paul,
many thanks for the reply.
When I turn off the alarm using the Fiat fob I normally enter through the hab door, could this be the problem, although i have been doing this since I purchased the m/h?

Try setting your alarm and then un-setting it and testing to see if opening and shutting a cab door stops it re-arming to see if the re-arming feature is the problem.

It could be that the contact has failed so even if you do open the door it doesn't let the 'brain' know that it's been entered, hence it re-arming, just set the alarm and open the door and see if it goes off.

When the alarm is on (2 beeps) it goes off when the hab door is opened so I guess the reed switch is ok.
I have started switching off the alarm then opening one of the cab doors before getting in through the hab door and this seems to be ok.
Not sure if the movement sensor inside near the hab door is working though, fitted new batteries but when I press the button it does not flash
Thanks for your help
