Ours is the same on our Rapido, the draining was awfully slow no matter what we tried. I then had a wizard idea of using our pond vac to try and clear whatever was causing the problem. I nearly had a fit when the chrome top came clean out, made cleaning nice and easy though

The whole thing. And there is a plastic cup inside that also comes out. But I have no idea whether yours is the same. Did you see the photo in my original post?

Hi Acropolis, had my hab service today at dealers and mentioned the plug hole they pulled it out and cleaned it!!!!!! the tech used a trim tool to remove it ,ours doesn't have the little cup in, know how to clean it now

Thanks for the info - didn’t know that it could be removed. We’ve fitted an OXO shower drain cover that fits well and keeps most of the mess out of the drain.
