Waldwipfelweg

Time to move on from Kelheim saw me waking her up early with the very cunning plan of seeing a Nepalese Himalayan Temple by Wiesent.
Got there early and nobody around. Thought it might open at 1000 hrs but then located the sign saying Saturday Sunday Monday 1-6 and today is a Thursday.
Undeterred by a basic error we had our b plan of waldwipfelweg.
What on earth is that ?
It is a berg or viewing point up in hills. 12.50 entry

It is wheelchair friendly as you walk up the outside circular path to the top and views for miles across the danube valley.
On the way up you can choose to go up rope obstacles and a choice of slides on the way down.

Then there is an intellects nature walk which was only 500 m but every 10 m was a quiz. And it was worthwhile. Then it had climbing traverses and optical illusions and before we knew it we had been there 3 hours laughing like little kiddies having great fun.
There is an upside down house for an extra 2 euros we passed in. But then we found this room where you buy a ball and put it on the start of a rail and it goes all over the place as you chase round after it as it goes behind walls reappears jumps into a symbol and off then over xylophone and all the adults loving it.
It was a sort of domino chase in rail tracks with a ball. Over an hour in there !!!!
Wife kept the ball rather than give it to some German kiddy. I think she thinks we will bring the grumpchildren here.
Stiflingly hit we decided against the adventure park a kilometre away with rodenbahl and save that for another day.
If this were France I would park up at this place for the night, but it's Germany.
Had a lidls fill up and got 3 euros back on our pfand for ice tea bottles and one of those gertranke ? Places next door where 20 bottles of beer just cost us 16 euros (19 with pfand)
Managed to find brilliant little stellpatze outside Deggendorf at 7 euros a night and can see us staying at least 2 nights with weekend incoming
