Woke up with every intention of heading to Vannes area.
It was on the moister side of damp though.
But we set off with Vannes in the sat nav, and as happens quite frequently with us we decided to drive til the weather got better.
We passed Nantes
We thought that might be Noimoutier but it wasn't so Re it was.
And yes I paid the 16 euros to go over.
Lady at the kiosk to put the amount in so no class 2 arguments in french with an intercom and over the steep bridge with cyclists having a struggle.
Got to the Aire after some weird detour courtesy of TomTom and got the last spot and jiggled in before straightening up.
Straight round to lidls on the bike, after fathoming out the pay machine for 3 nights at 10 euros paying by cc, and then a walk round town with its lovely harbour and a few spots of rain.
And who knew the only extortionately priced Tintin shop in France was in the harbour
