This place is in the middle of nowhere and then take the back lane from there.
Big car park that double up as an unofficial aire and there are some full timers in their own self made motorhomes and a whiff of the Nabis might come across occasionally but they were good company and most welcoming, so if you get the same ones say Hi for me. Dog walkers use it and it is a circular volcanic lake which is very very deep and the water to swim in is magnificent. For those of a disposition towards naked bodies there is more than a possibility you will see some. It is Germany, it is a lake, it is almost the law but you can wear trunks as nobody enforces anything. There was an idiot practising jumping up and down on a bit of tow rope about 40m high there as well and 20 year olds having a good old barbie whilst we were there. Great place to visit/overnight
