Platja del sayer (Valencia)

We left our spot this morning and picked up LPG at 83 cents and made our way to a free Aire which is probably as close to Valencia as you can get. It's slightly to the north and reviews were mixed. Having negotiated the roads of Valencia to get there we were met with a very bumpy surface with a number of full time self build vans and neither of us fancied it.
We then put a place into the satnav where we know another funster has booked for the fallas. We got no reply from a phone number where we could book so just went for it ..... Through Valencia. It was interesting.
But when we got there it was full, so was next door at twice the price of 20 euros. Camper contact was employed and took us to a place we could see a motorhome on the beach.

It seemed perfect as it was free and a beach view.
Got the bikes out and headed into Valencia on a decent dedicated cycle route.
We had seen these beautiful white buildings surrounded by blue water whilst we were driving and headed for them.
We got 1.5 KMs down the road and had noticed all the no overnight parking signs on entry to the car parks. Then we saw motorhomes ! Then we saw loads of them. Back to the van and we came to here.

Little did we know when we continued our ride into Valencia there are even more motorhomes parking for free. Reckon 2-300 but no facilities noted though neighbours have just pointed out a drinking water tap to fill up from (slowly and within 100 yards by the beach showers)
We had to cross the river on this part of the cycle route

Then to cross the railway line you go to your right (Against where you think you want to go) and ride 400 yards to the tram stop and about turn onto the tram bridge where you cross with trams on a dedicated bridge

Then we found the white buildings.
This is guesswork. The first but appears to be a swimming complex 7 euros for the day. Called something like ocean something (I LL update when I know) then we think it's the science museum then arts museum then the cycle path runs up an old river that had been turned into a park. It's brilliant. By all accounts we can get into the centre of Valencia traffic free on this route.

But our intention today has changed. We can see us staying here for a bit. We had seen all the advertising by KFC for a 5 euro meal of burger, chips, drink and ice cream so put KFC into mapy.cz and dumped the bikes in park (with 4 locks) and walked to the nearest one and watched the traffic whilst eating

We decided to come back as time is not a problem here now with warm weather but a bit of breeze when our eye was taken with this vending machine
