I m going to include Gaggenau here as they are close.
We have stayed at Gaggenau a few times, and I am trying to remember why we didnt on this occasion. It may be they wanted some money for the privilege of having me park in their car park which is a dedicated motorhome stellplatz with access to electricity and belongs to the therme adjacent with walks through the park and into town with a Lidls.
Possible to get to Baden Baden over the hill on a motorbike from here and no doubt on an ebike as well but it was hilly but Baden Baden is not supposed to be easy for a motorhome and there is a therme we need to check out at some stage there.
Oberstrot is car park, free, I think there was water and dump but genuinely cant remember. Its a bit like an abandoned tennis court next to a swimming pool and the road up there was narrow from memory but it cant be that bad as i would remember the fun !
We parked up next to another funster when we all escaped during semi covid and could travel back from Germany (Aachen area) directly to Calais and catch the tunnel back without having to be quarantined. There is a thread called Germany information sharing or something similar with several German towns visited by several people at the same time who just advised each other of what the score was at the time.
