Once upon a time, in a land far far away, pushbikes existed. We actually had pushbikes, not electric, once and we must have taken them on holiday. Nordlingen is the home of the now deceased Gerd Muller, Der Bomber, the anti hero of 1970 quarter final of the world cup and saw the stadium named after him. The town is circular, walled and built on a crater following a hit from a 1km wide meteorite. The wall still goes right round the town and you can walk it looking at the crooked roofs. Fairly certain this was the town with loads of pig statues because back in the day somebody left the door open during a battle and a pig sounded the alarm so it is revered here (or whereever it was)
