The day before we bought our E bikes !
We were "saddled" with what was meant to be an inspirational purchase of a folding electric tandem.
Brilliant idea as we both went to the same place, it had electric, it folded in half, so we could put it into the garage with the motorbike. What on earth could go wrong. The size of the wheels, the battery capacity, the inability to go over "rough" terrain, being overtaken by fat old people who were transporting their own oxygen in huge tanks. Even I have a little pride.
We used the motorbike to go into Monschau which would be a Beaux village if it were in France. We have returned and used the aire at 7 euros up the hill but its not too far into town. The Vennbahn cycle route passes above Monschau past the therme
