I suppose I have heard of him but couldnt tell you a lot about him but a nice garden that everybody goes on about is a nice garden and it was in the way once so we gave it a go and to be fair it is very nice.
There is a free aire at the site, and a strong recommendation to get there the night before and purchase your tickets before the day of entry where you should be queueing before it opens still with croissant and coffee in hand.
The reason for this is soon to arrive hordes of tourists who have heard of Monet as they turn up in their droves from coaches on guided tours with their annoying selfie sticks broadcasting to their imaginary friends.
However there is peace and quiet in the morning and you can stroll around for a bit and get some photos
