From memory you could pay to stay by the bridge or you could stay about a km up the road for free in a car park dedicated for motorhomes and nothing wrong with it. You can guess where we stayed. Lovely town on the river that goes to St Malo and renting boat was possible and actually considered. Good place to target St Malo from and possible first/last night stopover. Plenty of restaurants. If i remember rightly there was a monastary there and an old harbour
