West coast France, Dordogne and back

Newhaven Dieppe Cambremer Ploemeur

Got down to Newhaven plenty of time for the 2300 ferry.
Dumped van in the queue and walked to KFC and returned with bucket.
As we finished our meal they called us through at 2030.
Sat in queue and obligatory chat with other motorhomer allowed me to trial our £5 mobile phone endoscope from Temu to locate his dropped sat nav lead behind his dash.
Ferry was comfortable on the seats and fairly empty so 2 lots of 90 minutes kip gained before the 6 hour journey finished at 0600. Baccy pastis and scotch purchased
Dieppe was considerably damp and dark but past Rouen we got to considerably damp and light.
Cambremer was identified as a kipping place as had come from 12 hour shift prior to ferry.
Rudely awoken by church bells at 1130 for no reason at all and a second set of 23 rings followed after 5 minutes.
A walk round the "only" 2 flowery star village revealed the 8 euro entry for the best garden in France and a pretty village

Back on the road and a disappointing promised view at roadside aire prior to Avranches but saw a voie liberation post

then across to Ploemeur where we managed to get into a great aire by the beach which we had been anticipating not getting into owing to time of arrival.
Walk along beach and beer then zonked out. No internet or TV signal here
