Your wish list for the next generation Ducato (or Boxer / Jumper)

@kiwicampers.... someone else who equates RWD to better traction.

I base this on comparing a Ford Transit with RWD and two Ducatos with FWD.

Rear wheel drive for better traction.
Clearer display on dash.
Wing mirrors that close in automatically.

If it is a plug-in EV or even hybrid van, it is possible that DC propulsion motors will drive each rear wheel. A simple way to incorporate RWD into the design while keeping a flat load carrying floor. Do away with the propshaft and complex gearbox (only 1 reduction ratio needed), saves weight too.

Not a Ducato fault that is down to the converters fitting a swivel and not bothering to change the base.

Better security, more tech as standard like blind spot warning and lane assist and of course a dash you can read. Adaptive cruise control.

Adaptive cruise control.

It would be nice if the standard cruise control worked properly, its OK on the light chassis but on the Maxi it's awful.
