I did watch a lot of rugby though

We will stick with unlimited, 50Gb sounds a lot but if streaming TV it won’t last long then could get expensive

I think Asda PAYG sim costs nothing and can be activated and ported to and out again for nowt - Lenny HB did it I think.

The sim is free but looks like you pay a fiver for 3gb, free calls and texts, while you use it for a few days. You can select not to auto renew.

Ditto for us just to add another option. Got money back on the IQGo sim recently that I thought was going to be a long term goer. So used that money back to buy this for 7 months for either old phone or mifi.
We are on ferry 2nd April.

I presume Lebara card will be ok for at least 30 days while I faff about porting to Asda mobile

Looks like the deal is ending on Monday 16th. Does anyone know, will it be OK to activate the sim card on 1st January?
I've got the Asda mobile now for the rest of December with 3gb included so I don't need the Lebara one yet and I'm thinking if I activate it in January it will cover July next year

You get 30 days to activate from ordering.

You get 30 days from when they dispatch the order usually so you should be okay to activate it up 11/1/25, possibly a day or two later if they don't send it out immediately as they'll have been hammered I'm sure! If you don't activate it within 30 days all that happens is it will time out and be unusable and you'll get a refund of your 49p! Also you never know another even better deal might come along!

The Asda sim came today (at last) had a right job trying to activate it online, I rang them and did it over the phone porting goodbye to Lebara on 23rd...

But hello Lebara the week after!
