XZENT map upgrade

Had an email offering 20% discount on map upgrade. I'm wondering if it's worth taking up? mine has been performing well for 18 months since I got to grips with it and I really don't want to upset the applecart.
If anyone has taken up the map upgrade and also the updated the O.S from 4.1 to 4.3, has it made a noticeable difference and how much was it, please.

Ours is less than 4 months old and hasn't worked properly since day 1. It goes through the set-up wizard every day, but still holds addresses in favourites.

We're about to update the OS to 4.4 this afternoon. But we'd never spend any money on maps or other updates.

I notice that Autotrail are fitting a Ford unit in their 2025 models. Maybe if we complain to the dealers enough, we might get that unit.
