Portable washing machine . Total weight is 12.5kg . It “ wedges “ nicely between the two bike rack bars . Obviously I would ratchet strap it down . Would this be safe ?

AHA - now I understand your reluctance to use exorbitantly over priced site facilities ! I assumed you were travelling to the Continent where in my experience it's very cheap to use the washers
Agreed . Most sites are £4 wash and £3 dryer in the U.K. .

I had a discussion with a Caravan Club warden a few years ago re. the high cost of using their laundries. I asked why they didn’t have washing lines outside, to which he replied, “because campers might garrotte themselves”.

Only if the Wardens drove them to it.....

doesnt need one as it doesnt obscure the vehicle lights
Clearly does, as the photo shows the number plate obscured, and you need lighting for a number plate. There are regulations as to the visibility angles of the lights and the number plates.

Don't you need one of those reflective warning thingies as the bike rack extends rearwards of the back of the vehicle ?
We found that in Spain, for instance, that anything on the back needed a warning wotsit..

Yes it will be if strapped down. I think the fiamma racks can either hold 60 or 80 KG. Can’t remember of hand. If your worries send me a private message tomorrow and I will confirm the weight!

Hi
What a great idea. You can get everything delivered now. Is your company called washing on wheels. Like meals on wheels. Let us know your number. How far do you travel to do peoples washing?

The best thing l ever threw on the skip. Got given one once on a job, did not give her chance to look at it. Never had to do washing while away but if l had too, more than happy to bang a fiver in the machine. Can see why EHU will be going up and up

The only thing missing is the price menu! And perhaps a sign saying drop your draws here !

I thought those reflective plates are only mandatory in Spain

Kris Kristofferson, Sunday morning come down. Great song.

Yes, I thought that too; Johnny Cash may have sung the song but I was sure that KK wrote it.

He was a prolific songwriter and many of his songs were sung by other artists.
