Great shame, you are missing this year, we have a huge dog pen setup as well, the hound would have loved it.

This Sunday The Castle Combe Race Circuit which is only a few miles away from Woodside Field has a Classic & Performance Car Parade. 120+ cars on track and it is free entry into the event. Ideal if you are at the rally over the weekend, a few last minute places available.

We had a lovely stroll in the grounds of Badminton House this afternoon. Magnificent deer herd right by the path. Rosie did very well walking quietly by them and through the sheep.

I hope I have not spoken too soon, but the weather has been great, It's been a good Rally, Thank you all for putting this on. Grass cut and vacuumed, lovely bit of lawn, First Photo waiting for the arrivals, Third Photo preparing for the film, and the last Photo relaxing by the fires, it was a very nice evening.

Tesla car was well a bit of a disappointment. Several things but mainly not having a Speedo infront of the driver and having to look down and left to see the info board, which was much the same size as my motorhome TV, yes you would get used to it but in my view not a good safety feature. Not for me.

Field is now looking a bit empty with no tent (fortunately the band of helpers got it down before the afternoon rain shower) and motorhomes gone. We even waved off Quackers as he drove home (well it was going to take hours 'cos of the roadworks).

So thanks to Clive for his organisation skills quzzing, Hoy games, Bob for helping on parking, Martin for more quizzing and auctioneers, the cooks for bacon rolls that sleepy head missed, chickens for just about coping with egg supplies, Funsters for being Funsters, and of course Helen and Brian for putting up with us all and allowing use of their manicured lawns and all the other kit that emerges from the rear gateway to their abode.

Thanks to every one, tent dismantlers, cooks, parking wardens and mostly all of you who joined in the fantastic fund raising for GWAAC, which drum roll, raised £500. Yes that is right £500 Wow.

That's an incredible amount for a small rally, well done Funsters. Perhaps Clive can persuade the Air Ambulance to visit again at next years rally.
If you have any suggestions for activities at next years event, or even want to volunteer to run, or help out with something, have a chat with Clive (Clivefog).

The crafters were still going from the rally before when we arrived.

Olivia made and modelled a banana holder - sorry Ange, about your missing head!
Fabulous firepits in the evening and many thanks to whoever supplied the marshmallows and chocolate biscuits, my photo didn’t do justice to the colours of the flames, and Anniversary cake which was the cake that kept on giving and even doubled as John’s birthday cake for the grandchildren on Monday evening.
