It is certainly difficult to understand without more information.

The articles suggest the police are perhaps also finding it unfathomable.

But whatever, it sounds horrific for the poor lady.

Curious. I can’t fathom how.

Unless intoxicated etc, I can only see it to be a deliberate act, hers or a third party.

I’ll wait for clearer information.

Multiple reasons spring to mind, but I hate to speculate on things like this
I hope she makes a full recovery. Sounds bad though...

I heard of a lady who had onset dementia and used to walk around her hubbies mhome whilst he was driving. He had to secure the hab door because there were times she tried to open it.
I trust this was not the reason.
