Explanation required please??? As I said. big luton overhead means that a standard wing mounted antenna wont work. It's not your radio, it's the aerial that's crap in these vans

I need a man who can, it seems. Wireless was never my strong point. Why not , mine does & it is fitted in the drivers wing. Onlyabout a foot high ( Be passenger wing in rh drive.
Dave, tried one, (a DAB), but as soon as the sat nav powers up, that goes to SLUSH as well.........And it isn't even plugged in to the 12volt.

Er, I haven't got any filler in my wing, it's just good metal.......take a line vertically up from filler in wing
Hey, your wireless is the same model as mine!! Is that you??? Not sure about the tank top.Later that evening after his wife had cooked the tea, he'd finished his pipe and the Home Service had closed down, Tootles put his Funster chums' wireless advice into action:
Thanks all. I'm going to give Dave's last post a go, and check out the sat-nav first.......We have just bought one of these for our new Frankia (collecting on Friday - yippee). Seems to do just about everything we need.

Thanks Robert. Already been down this route, following an earlier suggestion some months ago by Graham, (GJH) I bought a fully shielded cigar lighter USB connector for the sat nav, and used a USB cable in place of the cigar power connector that came with it. No different.I've done a bit of digging around online and you may find these useful

The range of DAB transmitters in the UK (where we live anyway) is not very far. Ive got a DAB radio in my car and find the stations often 'drop out', whereas FM seems to be pretty constant.Does DAB radio pick up any English speaking channels when you are in Europe?
