Where is your sense of adventure... It`s only a stream....
Good idea, but whenever & wherever you finally decide to go, would it please be possible to have 2 threads. One for ESSENTIAL info & one for 'witty banter'.
It is very time consuming ploughing thru thousands of posts searching for relevant info, especially if one relies on campsite wi-fi abroad. Thanks.
I suggest you guys look at the original post ! your petty squabbles only adding to the problem !oh:oh:oh:
does anyone know where else we might accommodate 20 or so vans in the area?
Sorry I ment Santander with overnite stop at Salamanca

I believe that when real detail such as proposed site and list of attendees is starting there should be a dedicated thread to avoid confusion BUT there will always be FUN here
If you check back you will see that our blessed Leader (may his name be forever praised) with his infinite wisdom did EXACTLY that re- the first Majal Funster Meet...

That wouldn't put Andy & Lesley off they have one every Friday.
I was going to suggest The Chicken Run, and I'm sure they would be up for it. The problem I see is the lack of facilities. If you are a wild camper you will love it, no electric, no loos but the company is superb and the taxi service is something else.
We will be going back, we love the place.
I will give them a shout see if it can be done. :shout:
We3 went to Chicken Run in Feb this year and had electric.

Some friends of ours go to the campsite at Olhao, near Faro, every winter and say it's not expensive. Its shower/toilet facilities have been upgraded this winter, according to this new review - see
Might think about going next year, my cousin lives nearby!
Do they have 20 plus hook up points ????:Cool::Cool:

How about Nerja, close to Malaga, warmer in the off season months and cheaper than the Costa Blanca area...plus not so many tourists, good scenery, great town, wild parking and c/sites. Plenty of places to explore inland and closer too Portugal.
Stayed last January for 2 months loved it!
iLooking to get another meet together somewhere warmer than the UK for a three week period in feb/march next year. Who would be up for it and where should we go?
