Winter in Crete - Greece

Until now, we have always understood that the vehicle must be out of Greece within 180 days, but if you stay over 90 days, then you need to register with the local police. It's not usually a problem. Alway keep ferry tickets with you to prove arrival & departure dates.

I never did when on my boat and I never knew any other sailor who did, not even when years ago we showed passports on entry and exit.

And which local police would you register with if you are moving about? Every prefecture you stop in? Never any comeback.
