The front windscreen blinds have ripped about a dozen holes off the lower steel guide rod.
Are blinds of this age available?
I'm guessing they're gonna cost a bomb and I'm toying with taking them off and bonding a repair piece about 20 - 25mm wide along the bottom edge where needed and ironing in the pleats?
Any advice please chaps. 👍

What diameter is the lower guide rod ?, would ring binder hole reinforcers be any good ?

Unfortunately, I think it's been left too long for ring binder stickies and tbh, I'm not sure they'd be strong enough for a long term fix....good idea tho 😁

On my side blinds I did a similar repair using clear Gorilla tape then put holes through that once in place. Re folded it and has been good for years since. I also did the other side blind before that failed.

Good call Andy. I was wondering about Gorilla tape or one of the Storm sure tapes. Needs to be strong enough to last but thin enough to allow pleating.
Cheers ,👍
