I bought my first Mac in 2002, an iBook, G4 and I fell in love with it.. compared to my Compaq windows pc it was a breath of fresh air..
my next Mac was in 2005, a 17" Powerbook.. what a beauty.. and I still have it but sadly, the screen has some broad vertical lines making it unusable and it's not worth repairing as it's version of OS X is no longer supported.. and can't be upgraded.
Present Apple is a Macbook Pro.. Jan has an Macbook Air.. beautiful machines and an absolute joy to use.. almost perfect..
I also have a desktop built by PC Specialist with W7 Ultimate and to be perfectly honest it's almost as good as OS X .. it's fast and stable.. no crashes. had it running for almost three years and never had to do a windows re-install .. tried W10 and didn't get on with it so back to W7
To say one or the other operating systems is crap is just nonsense ..
