Wilding in Cullera

Alan, it's next to the little roundabout by the church and police station. Go past Consul turn right on the main road and you will see it just after the dog leg on the other side of the road. Enjoy.
This may help the lost soul.

We're in Valencia Camping Park. 14 Euros without lecce. Getting into and around the city from here is a price of piss and the camping staff will sort you out with everything you need. The metro system is a 5 minute walk from the campsite. I'm not aware of any other camping/wilding option that is near the metro and I suspect parking a motorhome in the city would be a nightmare. The city roads are rammed with traffic, rush hour must be a nightmare.
How Much! Are you ill?
I know the one you mean we were thinking of going there on the last trip but never made it that far south.

P.S. Beard looks cool.

I had a read up of the code of conduct for Ffree Llosding Ttossers and apperently one is allowed to use campsites if nothing else is available, providing you do not exceed 30 days in any given year. Those that do are classed as Humphreys.

I can own up to having spent 9 nights on them this year, one of them had a serviced pitch and only €12.

You must have exceeded 30 days with the Moroccan part of yout trip.:D

We just finished visiting Valencia. You might want to check out the weather forecast for Valencia City. I assume that's what you meant.

Keep it up there please. Only odd shower here this afternoon & sun after + dry for tonught.
I'm happy for you Gus. Where are you? It's not stopped raining here in the last 24 hrs and there's much more to come. We have decided to sit it out for another day, at least we have access to the town bars and free lecce on the Aire. There will be flooding below us for certain.

I'm in Lorca.
Rained a little thursday then sun out & dry for the parades. Friday it drizzled in morning for a bit then cloudy a dry until sun came out later & dry for the parades again last night. Been raining steadily during the night & forecsat for today is 80mm rain. then not much for sunday & Monday.

At last, a dry morning, although more rain is forecast. We will sit it out here for a couple more days as it's as good a place as any in this crappy weather. I was in the town bar yesterday evening and when I went in it was all men, old boys sitting round tables playing cards, must have been sports night. Anyway I was just about to reply on here when the town's electricity was lost. So no WiFi. It was restored before 9 pm so when the street lighting came on so did the free lecce for the Aire. We were also joined by 3 other motorhomes and they are travelling together. Them at one end of the Aire,Mena and I at the other. Very, very windy last night, motorhome was severely tested, rocking and rolling about all night. My prize step was 10 feet away from the door and my all weather door mat was found two fields away. Looks like the town bar is going to put on preiumship football for me today and if we stay tomorrow, I'll get some more. In spite of the wrathet we love this remote little town and will return again when hopefully the weather is better ( were only just above 10 degrees here) and explore the area in more detail. According to the town map thete are 3 bars here but I think only one.

Back to the bar for the match and to say it's rammed is an understatement, there still flooding in after this picture was taken. Word must have got out I'm in town.

Going to the market ?:LOL:

No, the sun came out so we got on our bikes and joined the Spanish families out enjoying their tapas on the prom :).
Wind's blowing up now, so we're back in the van again. Don't think we'll be lighting the bbq tonight:unsure:.

Whish it was, had a stay of execution from being built on for another 4 years . Was green belt between Lancing & Shoreham doesn't mean a thing these days.

@PhilandMena what remote town are you staying at Phil?
La Yesa Peter, a great stop over and there's another great one a short distance away that we have had to bypass to the weather. Both in camper contact with high ratings. Yesterday we decided to make a bolt for it, we were going stir crazy and bypassed some planned stops and drove to Medinaceli, a must see place on top of a hill with a free Aire, stunning views and they redirected the motorhomes onto the nearby football pitch while upgrading the parking facilities. Tiny place, has bars restaraunts, historical buildings tourist information and breath taking views. This morning we made a move to Palencia. We were here in January, cheap fuel and a free Aire which is arguably the best in Spain. Free, lecce, washing machine, hot showers and within walking distance of the town. The fuel has now increased substaintialy, from 1.14 to 1.27 so beware if you come here, although not obliged to use fuel station. We see blue skies f
