Thanks jock have you got an map location or image (what 3 words maybe) please?Wooton Lane Layby ( the nearest to AT), and Crackermarsh Layby, the larger of the two but a little bit further away.
No reports of either being unsafe, with Crackermarsh sporting 7 out of 10 stars on S4S.

Having just checked it out Simon, you are correct, but it wasn't my entry on Search For Sites (S4S)..............so not guilty. Thanks, that W3W take you to mon Alaska?!
Thanks Jock, your help is appreciated. I tried downloading S4S but the database wouldn't reconcile to my phone and so we went with Park4Night with a lovely quiet car park at a place called Oakamoor.Having just checked it out Simon, you are correct, but it wasn't my entry on Search For Sites (S4S)..............so not guilty.
Just Google the locations, and use Street View to give you a better idea.
Cheers,
Jock.

I've only ever been there for work... the countryside round here is lovely and the little village we ended up staying at was very peaceful.Stoke on Trent is pretty wild.
