some on here have asked why I don't have a site here, this one must have cost a fair bit to set up and there is all the upkeep and grass mowing and stuff whether anyone comes or not and I haven't got anything like what they have got apart from the same two pubs.

Your USP could be the 'Great Tractor Experience' site and let all the old vehicle nerds and their kids drive 'em around mowing the grass.
What could possibly go wrong?

In a word - price! From £28 for a motorhome pitch; £23 is for a tent only pitch.

It’s a big factor.

We are on a CS on the outskirts of Pickering.

Lovely little site (Weirside Caravan Site) with 5 level pitches and one of the best toilet / shower blocks ever seen.

But it’s £25 a night plus £5 if you want EHU.

That’s pricy for a lot of people.well worth it though.

While peeps are willing to pay that money (£40) for a Pitch the price will never come down .

Non electric pitch ,as stated,= tents. Where I have stayed outside Brighton they charge the same price for tent as small motorhomes=£9/night.

That's my one and only idea of a campsite. Well done them

We're just socially trained to believe its those with no money.
