Staying longer than intended on C&CC folkie meet in a very wet field miles from the nearest shop, my fridge is almost empty so I am having to resort to food in my emergency cupboard.

I have never liked hot corned beef very much but made into a pasta sauce with tinned tomatoes and a tomato chilli cuppa soup with a bit of chopped courgette boiled up with the pasta, it’s actually really nice!

Copious amounts of red wine makes it taste even better 😂

As any Student will tell you, you appear to be missing three essential ingredients.
Baked beans, Mayonnaise and Pepper.

The courgette makes it all sound far too healthy !

Thank goodness you had not run out of red wine, that would have been serious!
In my defence, I don’t actually like baked beans although I can see they would add some bulk to the dish 😂 There is a grind of black pepper to make it posh and the courgette adds a bit of a colour contrast.

Mayonnaise on it though…….🤢🤣

Serves one:

Boil water and put in 200g of dried pasta
Stir with wooden spoon
Drain pasta after 5 mins.
Empty Large tin of tuna (Drained) in saucepan
Add large serving spoon (or two) of mayonnaise
Add a lot of pepper (20 grinds)
Add anything else suitable found in larder or fridge (vegetables etc)
Stir all together over a low heat

Eat with wooden spoon from the saucepan to save on washing up!
Wash down with cheap red wine or supermarket lager.

I'm a newbie
Fried SPAM with baked beans.

Also, I learnt only a few months ago, that SPAM stands for 'Specially Prepared American Meat'.
