We’re a couple of newbies 😊
Three months in and loving the Fun with Gladys our new found best MH friend πŸ‘ Have settled into a nice routine now with storage; arrival and departure routines - having adapted these as time went on !! Only area that continues to flumux us is the bathroom vanity unit πŸ™„ Put all the gear (toothbrush toothpaste deodorant etc) into the unit on departure only to find it all having a noisy party during and after travels πŸŽ‰ πŸ˜±πŸŽ‰ Any suggestions welcome- we have taken to not using the unit when on the road but seems like such a waste of space πŸ™„

You could make your own versions to suit with empty packets and other containers and sticky back plastic in true Blue Peter style :ROFLMAO:
Perfect πŸ‘ Just what I was looking for - I’ll tame the noisy blighters yet whatever it takes blue Peter sticky back or any other ideas that come along …

We put all the items in old ice cream tubs. Or you could try any plastic tub with high sides , then you could be very organised and have his and hers. Could also stick them down with blue tac

It merges in with the other rattles…….

seriously, a few strategically placed bits of padding make a huge difference. Now the suspension…… different ball game

Sticky back plastic and old toilet paper tubes. Set together like a desk tidy can hold all the toothbrushes, roll on deodorant bottles etc. Clear plastic Chinease takeaway rice trays are narrow enough to fit in our vanity unit. All help to organise and deaden rattles.

I like the hanging toilet bags best,,they are like a bag that you roll out with all different compartments, and a hook on the end .some are even see thru, then roll em back up and put in unit(if units big enough)a lot of vanity units are a bit naff tho, the makers seem obsessed with vanity units and cocktail cabinets lol

We cut down opaque plastic divider organisers bought from The Range, and squeezed them into each of the vanity shelves. Does a perfect job, keeps everything in their place and stops annoying rattles When travelling.

Hi Ralph & Dave,

We operate at the cheaper end of the market and always carry a generous supply of toilet rolls [can never have too many to feed the cassette ...]. We break the pack of 9 or 12 open, and put up to 6 on the shelves, with the rest in the storage cupboard. The cardboard centres of the full rolls are perfect for keeping the lotions, potions, tablets and ointments that the older motorhomer needs upright, they stop noise and movement, cost nothing, and the 'storage' is using an area of what would otherwise be wasted space! With a 5.99m m/home with quite limited space, we have to opt for function over aesthetics [saves having to admit being cheapskates ...]

We each have a box shaped sponge bag to carry deodorants, lotions, perfumes(me), aftershave (him), etc. Use at home too and easy to carry out to the van. Shower gel and shampoo in the shelf in the shower, jammed in with wipe down cloths.

I have enough to pretty-well fill the space but added rails to the front of the tallest shelf to stop things toppling forward when I open the door; it’s a thing I got on line - 2 bars with an expand-twist-lock action.

Sounds like you need air suspension!
