We are in the legendary aire in Santander, always packed with you, the MHF ferry users But these days it is half empty. Mrs Peavy is happy, remembering her childhood in this, her hometown...

What site are you staying on ? i know of that small site where the chair lift goes right over the top of the motorhomes Snow looking good for xmas so enjoy....

We are in Montchavin now. Les Menuires on Boxing Day in the Aire then on to Montalbert Aire for 2 nights to visit friends.

Yep...in a nice location where people flock too both in Summer and Winter...but it's more fun in our motorhome...wrapping up warm and riding our bikes...even on Christmas day.

Bit late, but it's still Christmas. We had a day out after dropping 95year old Dad to the care home to spend day with Mum. Down to Poole, dog walk on beach for a few miles, then saw Sandbanks ferry was running so over we went (ferry was free but gave donation to RNLI), then parked on Studland beach and cooked (reheated) Christmas dinner. Left at dusk, home in time to spring Dad from care and take him home. Just watched Wallis and Gromit on iPlayer. Perfect day out (oh, apart from got flashed by a camera at 34mph) but hey ho, that's life!
